This was a very active summer for you and going into 1st grade.
The last day of kindergarten we checked you out of school and drove to Raleigh. We got a nice hotel there and went to bed early for the next morning. We got up the next morning at 3:30am and got on our flight to Ft. Lauderdale. We flew down to Ft. Lauderdale, got out car and went to the Florida Everglades and rode an airboat. You got to see real alligators! Once we left there we went to our house we rented in Miami Beach. You had so much fun at the beach as normal. We also went to Miami Seaquarium, the Miami Zoo, and did all kinds of fun things in Miami. Then we went on an 8 day cruise to St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Grand Turk and San Juan Puerto Rico. Once we came back, we went to Key West for a few days. Once we came back from Florida, we went to Gettysburg with GMa & GDaddy, Robin & Scott for a few days. You had fun, you got to see lots of “stones” which you are obsessed with. Once we got back from Pennsylvania, we went to Atlanta and went to the GA Aquarium and other places. Your favorite was the Lego Land. You had a great summer.
You just started 1st grade and you have Mrs. Young. You are still friends with Nathaniel and you enjoy school. You’re reading at a second grade level 2 weeks into the first grade. I am so proud of you. I love you so much.
