So I totally dropped the ball and did not make a 2023 update. I am going to try my best to put everything here. I cannot believe I did not post an update. 🙁 I am so disappointed in myself.
You had your first year in middle school last year. You were so nervous to be in a new school! You thought you were going to get lost and have trouble making new friends, but everything worked out I believe. You adapted pretty quick and learned the layout and made a few new friends. You maintained a 4.0 with straight A’s throughout the entire year.
One thing we did was took you to DC for a week for spring break. You had so much fun in DC and we walked soooo far. We saw all of the monuments, went to all of the museums, and had an amazing week. It was your first time on a train, and a subway. I think you liked it. We took you to Embassy Row where you got to see flags from around the world which you loved. Once we got back from our week in DC, we had to get ready because we flew to Ft Lauderdale to take a 7 day cruise with Royal Caribbean. We went to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Tortola and St Croix. You really had fun on that trip, and enjoyed your cabin with the window looking onto the decks of the ship. While we were in Ft Lauderdale, you tried Dragon Fruit for the first time and really liked it!
For Christmas you got a new laptop, some video games, and some flag stuff. You had a good Christmas.
Now on to 2024!
